The film has met universal acclaim and was written and directed by the legendary, Woody Allen, and features a cast including Alec Baldwin, Cate Blanchett, Bobby Carnavale, Andrew Dice Clay, Sally Hawkins, Peter Sarsgaard and Louis C.K. Cate Blanchett recently won the oscar for Best Actress for her starring role in this film.

The story follows elegant New York socialite Jasmine (Cate Blanchett), after everything in her life falls to pieces, including her marriage to wealthy businessman Hal (Alec Baldwin). She moves into her sister Ginger’s (Sally Hawkins) modest apartment in San Francisco to try to pull herself back together again.
