Two orchestral releases performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra are now out on the Audio Network site.
The first album Positive Orchestral features a combination of uplifting contemporary tracks and some classic patriotic tracks in the tradition of such great british composers as Edward Elgar and William Walton.
The second release Cinematic Orchestral covers styles from Swashbuckling Adventure to Nostalgic Christmas with a bit of Magic thrown in along the way.
Here’s a film of a performance of one of the tracks ‘Trailblazer’:
Paul recorded the tracks back in October 2012 with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in the superb acoustic that is Abbey Road Studio 1. Getting a booking at the studio was as task in itself as it had seemingly been block booked for the recording of music for ‘The Hobbit’, which was in production at the time.
