‘Seven Ages of Man’, a new 70 minute, 9 movement work for Jazz Sextet and String Orchestra featuring soloists Tim Garland and Jason Rebello, will be released by Ubuntu Music on the 6^th October 2023. The album, which straddles both the jazz and classical worlds, fits well within the recently established record label headed by Martin Hummel and Quentin Collins, which encompasses a wide range of jazz and related genres. Rapidly expanding and with an incredibly talented roster of artists, the newly formed label has been making waves within the music industry with their collaborative and artist led approach. After working together over the last few months, I’m confident this will be a fruitful and creative partnership.
